Doctor and Internationally Renowned Vedic astrologer
Dr K S Charak holds an M.S. (Surgery) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). Senior Consultant and Chief of General Surgery at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi (India)
Dr. Charak has been teaching Vedic Astrology for the last 30 years at Indian Council of Astrological Sciences in Delhi; and practicing it for the last 50 years. He has written several books appreciated all over the world.
Dr. K.S. Charak is a highly qualified medicine professional and author of several excellent books on Vedic astrology. He is also the editor of globally circulated ‘Vedic Astrology’ journal.
Dr Charak also leads SOSMT (http://medicalrelief.in/) , a charitable organization devoted to providing free surgical and medical care to the poor and the ailing in the rural areas of India.

Medical Relief
Medical Relief for India is a non-profit organization dedicated to programs which provide free medical care to the poor and needy in India. These programs are supported by the SOS Memorial Trust (SOSMT), a charitable foundation established by Mr. Sudhir Mehta and Dr. K.S. Charak. Through their leadership, the SOSMT provides free surgical and medical treatment at week-long camps in select rural areas. Bhagdevar, Vindhyachal and Bani are a few areas where medical camps have been held due to the unbridled poverty and severe lack of medical care in these regions.

March 2020 Camp at Vindhyachal

The Shri Onkar Singh Memorial Trust (SOSMT) conducted a free surgical cum medical camp in the sacred ashram of Devaraha Hans Baba in Bhagdevar village, Vindhyachal, District Mirzapur (UP) between March 1, 2020 and March 7, 2020, both days inclusive. The Trust last held such a camp in these hallowed environs some ten years ago, in November 2010. The present camp happened to be the fifty-sixth camp of the Trust and the seventh in this Vindhyachal ashram. With this camp, the SOSMT enters its twenty-first year of selfless service to the ailing humanity.
Nourgran Camp November 2019
(November 3, 2019 to November 9, 2019)
The fifty-fifth free surgical cum medical camp by the Shri Onkar Singh Memorial Trust was conducted in the village Nougran in Jammu district of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, the first such camp after the J & K State was bifurcated into two Union Territories by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Government. This was the fifteenth such camp in this village by the Trust

The Shri Onkar Singh Memorial Trust carried out their fifty-fourth free surgical cum medical camp in village Nougran in Jammu district of the J & K State from March 24, 2019 to March 30, 2019. This was the fourteenth camp of the Trust in this remote village.
